Overdrive: Patrons have to first authorize their overdrive account through NKO. Sometimes patrons have more issues with this--in that case, you can put them on a patron station and assist them through the whole process. Register at NKO--log on--click on reference--click on Econtent Audiobooks & Ebooks--Click on Overdrive--click on My Account--set home email and simple password. Now customer can log on to the overdrive site.
When NKO asks for a community while registering it can be any community--it's only for community group social networking purposes.
The Overdrive app is available for smart phones, laptops, and tablets. This makes it possible to download without having to "sideload": use a laptop to transfer the download.
Air Force and DOD teachers can see Linda for access to Overdrive--these personnel aren't eligible to register at NKO.
