Ways to not get a negative ICE comment

We all sometimes fail to please people the way we would like to. Customers usually won't get angry under normal circumstances of staff trying to help.
Customers have been known to send negative ICE comments for the following staff actions:
Staff was not paying attention to loud customers on computers.
Staff was not sufficiently helpful but short and staff seemed to be absorbed in their own computer.
These are the two main complaints that reference has received and they are uncomfortable to receive.

A way to stay focused on the work environment is to take breaks from computer tasks and look around the area for a while. It is good to go back and forth from computer to watching when not actively helping customers.
